TECH Trek Program

Tech Trek is an enrichment program designed for passionate students to explore various technological trends, including artificial intelligence, big data, robotics, and (IoT) Internet of Things etc. Over the course of 6 months, students will participate in excursion to technology startups in Hong Kong, gaining in-depth knowledge of cutting-edge technologies and engaging with industry leaders to learn about their entrepreneurial journeys. Tech Trek adopts a unique experiential learning approach, allowing students to step out of the classroom and gain firsthand experience of technology applications, as well as a deeper understanding of how these technologies shape industries and society. The program concludes with a grand exhibition where students showcase their final projects, demonstrating the knowledge and skills they have acquired throughout the program. Tech Trek provides an exceptional platform for students to explore the world of technology, nurture their passion and curiosity, and prepare for their future careers in the tech industry.

Understand and learn about the operation and processes of the entire production line, as well as gain knowledge about 3D printing technology.

Their innovative technology offers an alternative solution to convert CO2 into profit. Microalgae are highly efficient carbon-fixing organisms, with a capturing capacity 400 times that of trees.

Understand and learn about their exclusive research and development system.
Hands-on experience in building a simulated PBR system and accepting various challenges.
Cultivate microalgae using algae and bioreactors.

Farm66 is a pioneer in indoor agricultural technology in Hong Kong. Their indoor farming systems are self-sufficient, eco-friendly, and not affected by weather or pests. Farm66 aims to provide stable, organic, and healthy agricultural products while promoting sustainable urban agriculture.

Learn about various cultivation techniques and their importance.
Visit Hong Kong's largest indoor farming facility.
Design a mini version of an indoor hydroponic ecosystem hands-on.

Clearbot aims to provide an innovative way for ocean cleaning. Clearbot is capable of pollution restoration, using electric power to clean trash, oil spills, and invasive weeds. It can also capture and send real-time video for monitoring and rescue purposes. With its intelligent navigation capabilities, Clearbot can autonomously navigate complex and hazardous routes, identify emergencies in real-time, and provide assistance.

Through visiting Clearbot, students can:
Build their own Clearbot prototype and learn about its technology.
Learn how to effectively utilize AI.
Test their self-built Clearbot in the sea and contribute to the cleanliness of marine ecosystems.
